I wondered whether it is necessary to have carseats in the taxi, if we choose to hire one instead of taking the buses (which I know you don't need a carseat for). Our children are only 2 but have spec. needs and I thought it may be easier this way. thanx

    Hi Kim,

Thanks for writing.  Nearly all the taxis in the Walt Disney World are equipped with at least one car seat. (In general, drivers keep a car seat in the trunk and install it as needed.) Some of the larger van-type taxis have more than one car seat available. If you are trying to hire a taxi at your resort,  just let Bell Services know that you need a cab with car seats, and they'll help you secure one as quickly as possible.  You are correct that there are no car seats on Walt Disney World transportation (buses, boats and monorails), so if you require seats for your children, you may prefer to hire taxis.  Another option is to rent a car.  You can rent car seats from any major car rental company.  National and Alamo both rent on site at Walt Disney World from the Car Care Center, located near the Magic Kingdom.  There is a free shuttle from all resorts on property that can take you to the Car Care Center should you chose to rent a car here.

    Have a magical trip!
