Hi Jacquelyn!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am happy to see that you are using a
Disney Dining Plan on your next trip - I always enjoy the value they offer when dining at the Disney Resort hotels, the theme parks and select restaurants at
Disney Springs. You are correct that children under the age of 3 are not eligible for a dining plan but are welcome to share a plate with you. You can also order an extra sides or appetizers, or a meal from the children's menu and pay for those by another method (other than using dining plan credits). As your daughter is not using a dining plan, there will be no drinks included for her, but there are some options here. With every dining plan meal, a drink is included. If you don't want an alcoholic drink, you could share your drink with your daughter. Also you will receive 2 Snack credits per day, and you could use one of these to purchase a drink - speak with your server to see what is offered at each restaurant. You can also order extra drinks and add them to your order. They will be added to your bill, along with the option of a gratuity, to be settled at the end of your meal. You can pay for these by any method you choose - credit card, cash, room charge using your MagicBand, or even by
Disney Gift Card!
It's worth noting that with every Disney dining plan you will receive a Refillable Resort Mug for unlimited refills of drinks at the beverage stations at every Disney Resort hotel. Drinks include select fountain drinks and hot drinks such as coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
Please remember that reservations for Table-Service restaurants are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance,
online, or by using your My Disney Experience mobile app.
Come back and visit us again if you have any further questions! We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, and keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official updates and news on events that may be happening during your stay.
