Hi! I just wondered if anyone knew of any options for kids with the refillable mugs at the resort. I'm looking at going next year when my son is 3. I have never really taken notice if there is a none soda option? Thanks in advance

    Hey Rebecca,

Thanks for bringing this great question to us here at planDisney. It is super smart of you to do your research in advance of your Walt Disney World vacation next year and I’m happy to help you figure this out. Luckily for both of us, I just returned from a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel last week and vividly recall the options that were available at the resort quick-service since we spent a lot of time refilling our resort-refillable mugs!

Each Disney resort will have either a Coke Freestyle or a regular beverage dispensing machine for refills. The resorts with Coke Freestyle machines will have several more options available than those with regular beverage machines.  Coke Freestyle machines will have non-soda options like Minute Maid lemonade, Aguas Frescas and juices, Gold Peak sweetened and unsweetened iced teas, Hi-C juices, Vitamin Water, AHA sparkling water and Powerade. Regular beverage machines may vary, but some have options like Minute Maid lemonade, Vitamin Water and Powerade. You can also fill your little’s refillable mug with hot chocolate at any resort! As of right now, resorts that have Coke Freestyle machines are Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Island Tower, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, and Disney's Riviera Resort.

I hope you will also be purchasing one of the dining plans for your upcoming stay. Both plans are a great way to make your vacation feel more all-inclusive. Use your MagicBand+ to “pay for” all of your meals and snacks or mobile order using your credits. The dining plans are so convenient and give you one less thing to think about while you’re on vacation. Get a MagicBand+ for your little one so that he can “pay for” a few (or all) meals too! My 7-year-old loved feeling like he was covering the tab when we paid at quick-service locations last week!

Rebecca, I hope this information is helpful. Come back anytime and let us know if we can help with your planning questions. We’ll see ya real soon!
