Hi Moms, ! We wonder about water in the parks. we don't want to spend a ton of Money for bottled water. Are there any alternatives like drinking-water fountains ? we'll bring a reusable bottle

    Hi Maria,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm thrilled to be able to help you prepare for your magical Walt Disney World vacation.

Staying hydrated is so important in the Florida theme parks. And I'm with you; I really dislike spending money on bottled water. I'd rather use my snack money for popcorn, Mickey ice cream bars or a Dole Whip. But good news: You are welcome to bring your own water bottle and there are lots of ways to keep it filled during your visit. (Just be sure your water bottle is metal or plastic. Glass is not allowed.)

There are indeed water fountains scattered throughout the parks, often in proximity to the restrooms. Walt Disney World also has been adding water bottle filling stations, which dispense filtered water, in a number of locations. I have seen one in the line for Avatar Flight of Passage, for example. And I've seen at least one in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

Here's another hydration tip: Every quick service dining location will give you a free cup of ice water. Or, if I'm eating at a table service restaurant, I will ask for a cup of water to go at the end of my meal.

Thanks for checking in with us, Maria. Please let us know if we can help in other ways as you finalize your plans. Enjoy!
