I was wonder how and where I can plan a birthday lunch/dinner at Disney Hollywood studio?

    Hello, Yenifer! Welcome to planDisney!

Having your birthday bash at Disney's Hollywood Studios would be out-of-this-world fun! Since you listed June 26 as your arrival date, I'm going to use that date as our starting point. Hopefully, you already have plans to be at the theme park on the big day and have made Disney Park Pass reservations for your family, so let's talk Disney dining!

Looking at June 26, I'm not seeing any table service reservations available in the park for that day. But we're not going to let that get us down! This Disney mom still has some tricks to pull out of her carpet bag!

Since we can't find any advance reservations now, one really nice possibility is to try the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge. It's attached to the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant, but you won't need a reservation. It opens at 11 a.m., so I'd try to hoof it over there as early as you can to try and get in. There's a limited food menu here, but the famous Cobb salad and grapefruit cake will make any birthday special!

There are also some really fun quick service options at Disney's Hollywood Studios that could make for a memorable birthday meal. Try Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo in the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area of the park for some of the tastiest meals in the universe. Another fun choice is to grab a pizza at PizzeRizzo and head upstairs to find a table in the "banquet room," which is all decorated for a wedding. The festive atmosphere will make you feel like celebrating!

One more place to look: your My Disney Experience mobile app, where you can try the Mobile Dine Walk-up feature. It lets you search for restaurants nearby that have tables available without a reservation. You can learn how it works on the Mobile Dine Walk-up page on the Walt Disney World website.

Yenifer, remember that you can always leave the park and come back later if you find a dining reservation at a Resort hotel, Disney Springs, or Disney's BoardWalk. Looking outside the park can make it a lot easier to find a spot for your special meal.

I hope this helps you plan a magical celebration, Yenifer! Thank you so much for stopping by, and please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
