We are on the Wonder for 5 nights 2/20-25/23. Which night is best for dressing up to take family photos?

Ahoy there Carol! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you sailed my way with your question about dressing up on your 5-Night sailing on the Disney Wonder this February!

I am so jealous - the Disney Wonder is my favorite of all the ships! If the only thing different about her was that she had Tiana's Place and the French Quarter Lounge, that would be enough to get my vote!

Unfortunately, your sailing is not scheduled to have an official formal night - but I'm here to tell you not to let that stop you and your crew from dressing to the nines! One of the things I love most about Disney Cruise Line is that the Dress Code is meant to let every Guest enjoy their sailing as they see fit! Sometimes that means going "Cruise Casual" every night, and for others, it's "dress to impress" every night. The best part? The professional photographers will be set up around the atrium every night with different backdrops to capture your family's magical memories!

If you decide to bring along your fanciest attire - and I truly hope you do - I've got three "planDrew-approved" suggestions on where to create your own formal night!

    • I'd suggest wearing it the night you're scheduled to dine at Triton's! The theming is a bit more upscale and subdued than at Animator's Palate, and the front entrance right off the atrium is great for photos next to the statue of Ariel! Be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you embark for your dining rotation!
    • Or you could pretend you're partying like "Big Daddy" Le Bouff during Mardi Gras as you stroll past the French Quarter Lounge and down to Tiana's Place in your finest!
    • If it's the adults in your crew looking to turn dinner into a night on the town, you could make a reservation at Palo for a nice quiet - dare I say romantic - dinner for two!

I hope that helps you chart a course for adventure, Carol! Here's to an absolutely WONDERful sailing, with fair winds, following seas, and magical memories to last a lifetime! Thank you so much for your questions, and I'll SEA you real soon if you come up with any others - we're just a message in a bottle away!

    Fair winds and following seas,

    Andrew
