    Hi We are going on the Wonder in July to Alaska. Does anyone know how much internet costs. I am in school and have to do on line courses while i'm gone. Thank you Sherri

    It’s great to “sea” you back at planDisney with a great question about staying connected onboard the beautiful Disney Wonder. I just experienced this incredible Alaska itinerary last week and can certainly share the details of Disney Cruise Line’s “Connect @ Sea” internet packages.

    The Disney Wonder is unique from the other ships as it still offers internet packages based on the data you use rather than a time-based model. Prices are subject to change but are currently (US Dollars):

    • Pay as You Go (if you are unsure of how much to purchase): $0.25 per MB
    • Small (occasional use and connection to home): 100 MB for $19.00 ($0.19 per MB)
    • Medium (moderate use, social media posting): 300 MB for $39.00 ($0.13 per MB)
    • Large (all internet needs, streaming music): 1,000 MB for $89.00 ($0.09 per MB) 

    You may upgrade throughout your vacation as needed if you use all the data previously purchased. Please note that Guests in a Concierge stateroom category will receive some complimentary internet access but can purchase anything beyond that needed.  

    Connectivity while at sea is satellite-based and service may be interrupted or sporadic at times based on conditions. I had full cellular service while in the United States ports of Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan.  

    You can purchase these internet packages through your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once onboard and you will see the charge on your stateroom folio. Should you have any questions or issues during your sailing, please visit Guest Services for a quick resolution together.  

    I hope you can balance your school responsibilities with the relaxation and escape of this magical bucket list vacation, Sherri! I am still processing everything we saw and experienced but believe me when I say each day of this vacation was better than the last. I’m so glad my family took the leap to this big adventure together and I hope you have an incredible time too.
