Hi Susan and welcome back to planDisney. It's so lovely to have you here with another great question about your upcoming trip to
Walt Disney World!
One of my favourite things to do when my family visit Walt Disney World is to stop by the various
Disney Resort Hotels to experience dining options there and/or to see what they have to offer. This often helps us to decide which hotel we would like to stay at when we visit next and there are so many great restaurants located at the Disney Resort Hotels.
'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort and
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White at the Wilderness Lodge are two of my most-loved.
Character Dining at
1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa sounds like a wonderful way to enjoy dinner during your stay. The all-you-can-enjoy buffet means that there will be something for everyone in your travel party to enjoy - even picky eaters. Not forgetting the fact that you'll be able to meet and have photographs taken with a selection of Disney friends which may include Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel and Princess Tiana. (Please do however note that characters are subject to change.)
Good news, Susan, you will indeed be able to watch the evening fireworks light up the sky over Cinderella Castle from either the Grand Floridian Marina or, the beach once you have enjoyed your dinner. The music is even piped in so you'll be able to listen to the Happily Ever After soundtrack whilst enjoying the fireworks.
If you time it right, you might even manage to catch the
Electrical Water Pageant as it sails by.
I hope that this has answered your question, Susan. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further assistance with the planning of your trip.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
