Ahoy, Chris! Welcome to planDisney, where we aim to answer all of your questions about sailing where magic meets the sea.

It looks like you will be sailing on the 5-Night Pacific Coast Cruise from Vancouver ending in San Diego aboard the Disney Wonder on September 28-October 3, 2026. Since it is a one-way itinerary starting in Canada, making one stop in Canada, and then ending in the United States, your children will need passports because their birth certificates do not meet the travel documentation requirements for this particular sailing.

Any United States citizens, including children, who are returning from Canada by land or sea are required to have either an original valid US passport, an original valid US passport card, or an original valid Trusted Traveler card (NEXUS, FAST). Disney Cruise Line does reserve the right to deny boarding to any guests without the proper documentation, so be sure to get your paperwork in shipshape condition before embarkation day.
