Hello Paula!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for taking a break from saving the galaxy to stop by with your question.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite seasonal events, and I'd be delighted to discuss costume regulations for adults attending this
eerie-sistible evening. Let's get
ghouling!
I'm happy to report that you are welcome to wear your costume as long as it complies with the guidelines. For example, Gamora should leave her heavy weaponry and long capes on the spaceship. Painting your face is fine, but costume masks are not allowed. See
this page for more details. Remember, Orlando's weather is still quite warm in October, so consider the average temperatures when selecting pieces for your outfit.
I adore Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and I try to attend every year. Before I go, I'll share a few tips to help you make the most of this frightful fiesta.
*The evening features a lot of unique entertainment, and seeing it all in one night is difficult. I always prioritize Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and the
Hocus Pocus Villains Spelltacular. In my opinion, they're the best!
*Most restaurants will cease normal operations when
Magic Kingdom Park closes. Plan your meals accordingly, and leave room for plenty of party-exclusive snacks! Watch for a
Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide before the season's first party.
*With your event ticket, you may enter Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4 PM. I recommend arriving as soon as possible and reviewing a guide map to plan your evening.
I hope this has been helpful, Paula. Thanks again for visiting us at planDisney, and best wishes for a night of not-so-spooky fun this October.
