Hi I won some tickets to go to the Disney land park. I have the physical ticket with me but I was instructed to reserve a date. I'm having trouble doing that on the website. Could you help me?

    Hello Juan,

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Making theme park reservations to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park can be done through the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system.

First, you will want to link your theme park ticket to your Disneyland account. You can do this online with the convenient form that prompts you to enter the ID number of your ticket. You can also use the Disneyland Resort mobile app to link your ticket. If you choose to use the Disneyland Resort mobile app, simply tap the app menu that looks like three stacked bars in the lower right corner, then tap the "Tickets and Passes" tile, and then tap the "Link Tickets & passes" tile. You'll see you have the option to scan the barcode for the ticket or enter the ID number of your ticket.

Before you look to make theme park reservations, it can be helpful to take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. The calendar can be useful to plan visits because it will show the dates for which the theme parks have reservations that are available to select.

You can use the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system to make your theme park reservations. The Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system allows you to purchase new tickets and make theme park reservations at the same time. The system also allows Guests who have already purchased theme park tickets to make reservations.

Because you have already purchased your theme park ticket, you can use the "If you’ve already purchased a ticket: Make Park Reservations" button. You'll see your "My Theme Park Reservations" information page with a button to "Book Theme Park Reservation." You can also access the theme park reservation feature from the home screen of the Disneyland Resort mobile app.

Keep in mind, Juan, that if your ticket is a 1-Day theme park ticket, you'll want to look at the valid dates for which that ticket can be used for admission.

Hopefully these quick and easy steps will help you make your theme park reservations, and if you feel you'd like additional help, you can contact the Disneyland Resort Website Support team at (714) 520-6222.

Juan, here's wishing you a fun and wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
