I won Disneyland tickets in December of 2019 at a company event. They were to be used in 2020. They expired 12/31/2020. These are 1-day passes. Has the expiration been extended due to Covid?

    Hello there, Joel!

Welcome, and thanks for dropping in to ask planDisney a question about your Disneyland Resort tickets.

You may have heard that many theme park ticket expiration dates were extended due to the theme park closures. Those extensions were specifically meant for non-promotional tickets that were originally set to expire on December 30, 2020 or March 31, 2021. Eligible tickets now have an expiration date of December 16, 2021. Since your tickets have a different original expiration date than the ones I mentioned and were won at a work function, it’s possible they are promotional tickets and therefore may not qualify for an expiration date extension.

If you can, link the tickets to your account on Disneyland.com or with the Disneyland mobile app to see if a new expiration date has been assigned to them. If you are unable to link them or would like to speak with a Cast Member about the expiration date policy for the specific tickets you have, please call (714) 781-4636.

Joel, I hope your pixie-dusted theme park visit is just around the corner! Please feel free to write back with more questions as you continue making plans.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
