Good day, Mary!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for bringing your question our way!
Congratulations on taking home the top prize from the charity event! A trip to the Disneyland Resort is certainly something to celebrate!
The Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom are similar in many ways, but they are two different theme parks and are run independently. Therefore, the tickets you won at the charity event may not be used at Walt Disney World in Florida.
But, I encourage you to come experience the magic of Walt’s original theme park. There is nothing quite like walking down Main Street U.S.A. where Walt walked every day. Plus, there are several attractions you won’t find in Florida like
Indiana Jones Adventure, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage and
Mickey’s Toontown! These attractions are all unique to
Disneyland Park. If you want to experience some rides that are similar to the Magic Kingdom in Florida, check out Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, “it’s a small world” and Haunted Mansion. If your complimentary tickets include Park Hopper, you’ll be able to experience
Cars Land and
Pixar Pier over at
Disney California Adventure Park!
If you still have your heart set on a vacation to Walt Disney World, tickets can easily be purchased
online or from the My Disney Experience mobile app. If you’d like some extra help call (407) WDISNEY (407- 934-7639) to speak to a Walt Disney World vacation planning expert.
I hope this helps! Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with additional questions!
