Melanie Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I won an all-expense paid trip to Disney World, including dining package. My husband, myself, 19yr. old son and 8yr. old daughter will be there Sept. 16 thru the 19. We will be staying at the Movie All-star Resort. I havent a clue as to where to start.Help

Hi, Melanie!   Congratulations - sounds like you are one lucky person!

I would first check to see what kind of Dining Plan is included with your package.  If it is the Quick Service Dining Plan, you will not need to make any Advance Dining Reservations unless you plan to pay out of pocket.  If it is the Base Disney Dining Package, you will want to make your dining reservations by calling (407)WDW-DINE.   For each night of your stay, you will have "1 Table Service Credit."  So if you have 3 nights, you will want to book 3 Table Service Meals (note that some  restaurants are 2 credits, such as Cinderella's Royal Table or Spirt of Aloha Luau at the Polynesian.)  For more information on the Dining Plan, click HERE.

If you are flying into Orlando and will not have a rental car, you will want to check to see if Magical Express transportation has been arranged for you.   You can do this by calling (407)W-DISNEY and have your confirmation number handy (if you do not have a confirmation number, contact the person who is awarding you with the trip for this.)

Take some time looking through   Make some notes on "must see" attractions and parks.    Your son will probably enjoy Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios, and your daughter might enjoy Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom.   Your kids are at great ages where they will probably enjoy many of the same attractions, so you should have a really fun time.

Start planning out some attractions, get your transportation in order, and make your dining reservations and you will be off to a great start!   Have fun planning!
