The women in our group (4) are interested in getting a massage and or facial. We are staying at the Beach Club Resort. Where would you recommend getting a spa treatment?

    Welcome to planDisney, Vickie!

Oooh! Spa Day while at Walt Disney World? How fun!

You are all going to love your stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort. And what's even better? You are just an easy stroll away from a gorgeous, relaxing spa experience at Mandara Spa. Tucked inside Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, you'll be able to reserve the perfect massage and facial treatment for each one of you. When my daughter and I visited, we felt that deep sense of relaxation begin to seep in as soon as we stepped into this lovely space. Enjoy!

Of course, if you are planning on being in the Magic Kingdom area, consider hopping over to The Grand Floridian Spa. From the moment you enter the beautiful Grand Floridian, you'll know you've begun something special. To get to this resort from your hotel, take the Walt Disney World bus to Magic Kingdom. Then, it's an easy 15 minute walk to The Grand Floridian or a longer monorail ride from just outside the park entrance to the gorgeous entry to The Grand Floridian. Don't forget that you can always call a convenient, comfortable, and adorable Minnie Van Service that will take you directly from one location to another. On a spa day? You deserve that extra perk, too.

While staying at Beach Club, be sure to stop by Ale & Compass Restaurant; it's one of my absolute favorite breakfast locations in all of Walt Disney World. I don't know what sort of pixie dust is baked into the dishes there, but they are all so good; we've gotten off a cruise ship in Port Canaveral then driven to Ale & Compass just for breakfast before an afternoon flight home--three times!

Vickie, as you sprinkle additional pixie dust on your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
