    How do I get from WL to DTD? I read somewhere that buses only leave from WL after 4pm. How do I get there sooner?

    Hi Leslie!

    Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question and congratulations on your upcoming stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort! You're going to absolutely love your time spent there. It's one of my favourite properties in all of Walt Disney World.

    Buses depart Disney's WIlderness Lodge Resort for Downtown Disney all day long, beginning at about 8:30am. Generally, buses arrive every 20 minutes or less. Buses are shared with Wilderness Lodge by several other Magic Kingdom area resorts, stopping at Wilderness Lodge first. After your pick up, most buses will then stop at Disney's Polynesian Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Allow a full hour of transportation time if you're needing to make it to Downtown Disney for a reservation. Total journey from Wilderness Lodge to Downtown Disney usually takes just under 30 minutes, once your bus has arrived.

    During the daytime operating hours, the Downtown Disney bus also stops at Typhoon Lagoon (after Downtown Disney's two stops). In the evening hours when the Disney Water Parks have closed for the day, the bus operates as dedicated bus for Downtown Disney only. I can assure you that you'll have no trouble getting to Downtown Disney earlier in the day than 4pm!
