WL has an approx travel time of 60 min to any other park but MK (ferry) That being said, would the AoA be a quicker trip to the parks since it has its own bus? We stayed at the Movies last Sept and we never had a bus trip longer than 30 min to any park?

    Hi Kris!

I would recommend allowing yourself approximately 60 minutes from most Walt Disney World Resorts when travelling by bus to the theme parks.  This is not just the bus ride, but from leaving your hotel room, walking to the bus stop, waiting for the bus, and then the walk from the bus stop to the theme park entrance, or restaurant within the theme park.  The actual time is usually a lot quicker, but it is best to allow more time, especially if you have a dining reservation.

I have stayed at Disney's Wilderness Lodge many times and have never felt the bus journeys were too long.  I would recommend this Resort to everyone.

If you would prefer to make a reservation at Disney's Art of Animation Resort that would be a good choice because it is a new and exciting place to stay, but it wouldn't necessarily have quicker bus transportation times than any other Resort.  It will have it's own bus, with no stops at other Resorts.
