Hi Wendy! Shark Reef is so much fun! Since this attraction is open to all guests visiting Typhoon Lagoon, it’s basically treated like a ride. To make it fair to all guests, there is no lingering while in the water. You start at one end of the reef, and snorkel to the other side. Everyone goes in the same direction. Once you are at the other side, you will be directed to exit the reef. You are always welcome to get back in line and experience it again as many times as you like. If I had to guess, it’s less than 5 minutes in the water.
If you are interested in spending more time exploring, then I would definitely recommend visiting Hammer Head Fred’s to rent the SAS equipment.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
