Without park hopper can you leave a park and return to same park in same day?

Hey there, Amy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Yes, you can absolutely visit a Theme Park early in the day and then return later without purchasing the Park Hopper option on your tickets. In fact, I highly recommend it! If you plan to visit when the summer heat is on, it's a great idea to head back to your Resort hotel and rest, go for a swim, or just enjoy a little air conditioned break. Even if you're staying offsite, you can still take advantage of your ability to re-enter the same Park. We'll often hop aboard the monorail from the Magic Kingdom Park and visit some of the amazing Resort hotels along the loop. You can enjoy a leisurely lunch at Kona Cafe in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, do a little shopping at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, or have a drink at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Then, head back to the Park all refreshed for an evening of fun!

I hope this helps with your planning, Amy. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
