Can you see the Wishes fireworks from your table at Ohana's ? Are you allowed to go on the beach to see them , If you are having dinner there? Thank you in advance, LOVE this website.

    Hi Donna!

Ooooh 'Ohana!  My absolute favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World - heck, anywhere in the entire world!  The food is very good, but it's the ambiance is what makes this destination so magical.  The magic begins when you make your Advanced Dining Reservations.  You will need to check the calenders on the Disney World website, in order to see when Wishes! will be displayed on that night.  I would then try and make your ADR about an hour before that time.  Once the big day arrives and you arrive at the podium to check in, be sure to let them know that you would like to wait for a spot in the main dining room so that you can enjoy the fireworks.  Trust me, the wait will be worth it!

When Wishes! begins, the lights will dim and the music will be piped in.  This is the point of the meal where my family all stares at me and watches me turn on the water works... I swear I cry every time!  The fireworks will explode right outside the window while you are enjoying your dinner.  Absolute perfection!  Honestly, I would rather watch them from the comfort of my table at 'Ohana, than at the beach.  The beach is truly intended for guests of the resort, although you may or may not be asked to show your resort ID.

Whatever you do, save room for the bread pudding at the end of the meal - it's to die for!

    Much pixie dust,
