I would like to see the wishes fireworks show in December (8pm-MK) but the park closes at this time and i am staying off site (no extra hours). Can i still stay and watch the fireworks or will i have to leave before that? Looking to propose at that time.

    Michael,
You will absolutely be okay staying for the Wishes fireworks in December. Usually in the off-season, the official park closing time is the same time that the Wishes fireworks are shown. It's just a magical way of saying good-night to Magic Kingdom guests.

In fact, after official park closing time, the stores on Main Street will remain open while the park clears out.

If it is an Extra Magic Hour evening, Cast Members will begin to ask guests without EMH wristbands to exit the park once the Wishes fireworks show has ended. But clearing the park on any evening takes time.

My family absolutely loves to linger in the parks after official closing time and make our way slowly out of the park. For a romantic evening, I highly suggest that you stay to soak up the extra magic in the Magic Kingdom.

Your future bride is very lucky! A proposal in the Magic Kingdom sounds ideal to me!!!
