Hello Richard! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I love the preciseness of your plan to visit Walt Disney World Resort and focus on Epcot for 2 days and a Water Park. You have 2 options for your planned visit.
The
Theme Park Tickets that include a visit to a Water park as a package are the 2-day Tickets with Park Hopper Option, upgraded to the Park Hopper Plus Option(to include a visit to the Water Park). Currently, the cost for these tickets would be $274 plus tax per adult and $262 plus tax per child(ages 3-9).
If you chose to forego combining your Theme Park and Water Park tickets as a package deal and
bought your Water park tickets separately, you are looking to purchase 2-day Theme Park Tickets for Epcot at a cost of $199 plus tax per adult and $187 plus tax per child(ages 3-9). Then you would purchase a 1-day Water Park Ticket for $62 plus tax per Adult and $56 plus tax per children(ages 3-9).
While the cost to purchase the Tickets separately will save you money, be sure to take a look at the options available to you with the Theme Park Tickets with Park Hopper Plus Option. If any options are something you may require for your trip, it is more cost-effective to purchase the package.
Buying tickets individually also fails to account for any potential savings that
purchasing tickets as part of a Magic-Your-Way Package(with a Resort Hotel Reservation) or taking advantage of a
Special Offer that includes tickets being offered by Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to consider those cost-effective measures if they meet your needs as well.
Happy Planning!
~Todd
