We wish to participate in the Fort Wilderness golf cart parade. Are there “How to secure cardboard to your golf cart” instructions? Thx

    Howdy Susan!

Decorating the golf carts at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is nearly a competitive sport! Luckily, it is one where everyone wins. Some folks decorate to clearly identify their cart around the resort. While others go "all in" with over the top conversions that make the cart indistinguishable as something that would ever be on a golf cart. While there are no written "how to" guides for decorating your golf cart, the friendly staff at Fort Wilderness provided me with the following rules:

    1. Do not do anything that would permanently alter the cart such as drilling holes or painting.
    2. If you utilize tape, remove residue with rubbing alcohol. Abrasive substances such as steel wool or scrapers will damage the finish. Zip ties are an alternative to tape.
    3. Light cannot be connected to the cart's battery. You must use a different source for powering lights.

Other than that, go for it! I hope you have a great time at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  Say hi to Chip 'n' Dale for me!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
