Ahoy, Maricel!
I am so excited for you—March is just around the corner, and soon you’ll be setting sail on the
Disney Wish! My family loves the
Hero Zone, and my kids would probably spend all day there if we let them. You're going to have an incredible time exploring all the Wish has to offer.
Since you’re embarking from
Terminal 10 for the first time as a
Concierge Guest, let’s go over what to expect. I reached out to a fantastic Disney Cruise Line Cast Member, and they confirmed that the process at Terminal 10 is very similar to what you’ve experienced at Terminal 8. While the terminal isn’t owned by Disney, it’s still well-organized, and the flow of embarkation and debarkation should feel familiar.
If you’re using private transportation, your driver will follow the signs to Terminal 10 and the Disney Wish. You’ll first stop at the luggage drop-off area in front of the terminal. This is where you’ll unload your bags and then make your way to the terminal entrance on foot. Once inside, you’ll go through the usual check-in process, and Cast Members will direct you to the Concierge waiting area, which provides a comfortable spot to relax before boarding.
Since you’ve sailed out of Terminal 8 before, you might notice that Terminal 10 doesn’t have the same level of Disney theming. The Cast Member shared that while you’ll see hints of Disney magic, it won’t be as immersive as Terminal 8, since Disney doesn’t own Terminal 10. Fingers crossed that with all the exciting fleet expansions, Disney might one day create a fully themed second terminal.
Wishing you pixie-dusted planning and a voyage filled with magical moments. May your embarkation be as smooth as the soft-serve ice cream onboard!
Sea ya real soon with pixie dust and ocean breezes,
Dustin
