I wish I'd found this forum sooner. We are staying at AKL and I upgraded (?) to the Arusha view because I read somewhere that we'd be able to see both giraffes and zebras from our balcony, but the more I look the more confused I get. Will we see both?

Hi Colleen! I feel you have done the right thing in requesting and paying a little extra for the Arusha Savannah view. This is considered the main savannah at the resort and the most requested by the guests because you will be assured of seeing a wide variety of animals throughout the day and the night. Obviously Disney can't tell the animals where to go so guaranteeing that you will see giraffes and zebras is hard to do. I have never been there where I haven't at least seen the giraffes right outside our balcony! Listen at night and you will hear some animals feeding out there in the dark and to me that is when I truly felt like I was in Africa on a safari!  You will love your experience!
