We wish to make FastPass+ reservations for our party of 6, who have some rides of common interest, but some that are different. How can we ensure that our common reservations are together, while our differing ones occur in the same time block? Thank you!

    Hello Matt!

Your party sounds a lot like mine. I enjoy the thrill rides at Walt Disney World, some of my favorites being the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, and Splash Mountain, but my 6-year-old son does not enjoy the thrill rides. In fact, he avoids them at all costs. This means that when I plan FastPass+ reservations I am usually splitting my party up for different attractions. I will typically plan all of the low-thrill, agreed upon rides together at the same time, and then separate the party for the other attractions. You can do this by modifying your FastPass+ selections and choosing the members of your party that you want for the specific attractions. You can then change the time slot by choosing a time from the drop down menu. Just make sure to plan the different attractions within the same time frame. Even if the time frames are a few minutes off you can still plan to separate and experience the different attractions during the same time.

If your accounts are not linked up in My Disney Experience, planning FastPass+ selections might be a little tricky because you will have to choose the time frame and then schedule them individually online. I suggest linking together in My Disney Experience so that scheduling FastPass+ selections is easier for your party.

I hope this helps, and if you need anything else, please let us know. Have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
