    If we wish to attend the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party as well as the full day do we need to purchase 2 separate tickets and would it be the regular full day admittance fee plus the over $70 Halloween party ticket?

    Hi Debra! Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a special event party held in the Magic Kingdom park throughout the fall season. This party is officially from 7pm to midnight. However, if you have purchased the special event ticket you can enter the park as early as 4pm giving you three extra hours of fun. Once 7pm comes around all guests who are not wearing the special event wristband will be asked to leave the park. It is amazing how well Disney does this!

    If you plan on heading to the Magic Kingdom park in the morning until 7pm you would indeed need to buy a day ticket. They do not offer a lower price for days when there is a special event though.  I suggest all guests who purchase the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets visit another park on that day. Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are both good options. If you have the extra time built into your vacation then I go further to suggest that you use this day for shopping in Disney Springs or try some of the great recreation opportunities on property such as fishing, horseback riding, mini golf, and more. Just staying at your resort to enjoy the pool is also a tempting idea. Heading back to the park at 4pm will give you 8 hours of fun with most of those hours seeing fewer crowds and lines.

    Disney vacations can indeed become quite pricey especially if you take advantage of everything offered. Good planning of your time and money will help make it the best vacation ever!
