I'm thrilled to hear you want to include
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf in your next visit to Walt Disney World! My family loves it, but it's an often-overlooked Disney experience. My teens and I played a round here last spring, and it became one of our favorite memories! We got Mickey Ice Cream Bars to cool off afterwards! If you do not have a car, transportation to Winter Summerland can be a bit tricky. As you mentioned, you can typically take a bus to
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, as they share a parking lot. If
Blizzard Beach is closed, your options grow thin. Your best plan will be to use a rideshare service, like Uber or Lyft, or a
Minnie Van (booked through Lyft).
If you prefer to avoid rideshare, you have a few options. The first is to plan your visit to conclude by the time Blizzard Beach closes. You can
call to book an appointment to make sure you stay on schedule. It stays open until 8 pm on some summer nights.
Bus transportation from Blizzard Beach runs until approximately 60 minutes after closing. Another possibility is if it's still daylight outside, you could walk to
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. It's about a 20-minute walk, and from there you can take a bus to a theme park or Disney Springs. You can then take
complimentary resort transportation to your resort.
It's a
Cool Kids Summer at Walt Disney World, Jamie, and lots of favorite attractions got upgrades, as well! I think I'm most excited about the newly refurbished
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (the blasters are handheld now!), but Soarin' has always been one of my very favorite attractions, so I can't wait to experience
Soarin' Across America, too!
