Are wines by the glass restricted to certain brands on the DDP at all restaurants?

    Hello Elaine,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I think your question is really interesting. In my personal opinion, everything pairs well with a Walt Disney World vacation, and that include the wines you can enjoy while savoring your meals. I personally wouldn't describe the wine selections available with a Disney Dining Plan as restricted. As someone who always appreciates a fine pour with my meals, I find I can usually spot an interesting variety to enjoy from among several wineries. What we have to keep in mind, though, is that there are so many amazing dining locations that serve wine and accept Dining Plans, and each location will take a different approach to its menu selections and offerings. There isn't a general guideline I can can think of to share that would apply to all restaurants. Your Cast Member server at the restaurant would be able to guide you on which wine selections would be available with a dining plan.

Elaine, I don't know when you're planning to travel to Walt Disney World, but if your trip lines up with the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, there are lots of wonderful opportunities to explore wines of interest. There are also restaurant-specific offerings like Jiko Wine Tasting that are fun to experience.

Here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
