Ahoy, Ylse! Welcome to planDisney, where we aim to answer all of your Disney Cruise Line questions to help make sure that your vacation is smooth sailing.

When you set sail with Disney Cruise Line, you can definitely indulge in a variety of vintages, whether you are just looking to enjoy a glass of wine or even looking to share a few bottles over the course of your itinerary. Every member of the fleet offers a number of different nightclubs and lounges, so be sure to check out the menu offerings and fun theming at all of the locations around your ship. You may also want to consider booking one of the beverage tasting seminars, where you can cultivate your inner connoisseur at the stem-to-stern wine tasting and try some new flavors under the guidance of an expert sommelier. These seminars are popular and fill up quickly, so consider booking once your advance booking window opens rather than waiting until you are onboard.

If you plan to enjoy wine with dinner each night, then there are a number of onboard wine packages, which provide opportunities to save up to 25% by purchasing a designated number of bottles rather than purchasing them separately. Prior to sailing, you can select your preferred wine package with Disney Cruise Line Onboard Gifts, which includes both classic wine and premium wine package offerings. You can view the options by entering your upcoming reservation information or can browse by departure port to get a general overview. If you do not book one of the packages ahead of time, you can also discuss available packages with your rotational dining staff on embarkation day.

Finally, Disney Cruise Line also allows guests 21 years and older to bring their own alcoholic beverages on board on embarkation day and at each port of call. The specific rule for wine is that each guest 21 years and older may bring a maximum of two bottles of unopened wine or champagne, no larger than 750 ml. Further details regarding the alcohol policy and different rules for some international sailings can be found here.

I hope that gives you some insight into the variety of wine options that can be found onboard. If you have any more specific questions, then feel free to reach back out to us here at planDisney. Happy sailing!
