    For the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon in 11/15, we would like to start planning and booking our trip this week. It looks as though RunDisney offers deals for participants, but the cannot be used until after reg which is not until March. What should we do?

    It's never too early to begin planning a runDisney race-cation! And you are correct, discounted room rates and specially priced theme park tickets will not be available for this event until registration opens to the public on March 17, 2015.

    If you're a planner like me, my advice would be to go ahead with booking your accommodations now and then modifying, or rebooking your reservation upon release of discounted room rates through runDisney, or through Walt Disney World®. Having the peace of mind that your resort hotel has been taken care of is important as the resorts listed as "host hotels" often book early and quickly! And it's worth it when you can always modify on the day registration opens.
