    Will the Wine & Dine Marathon affect any of the parks? I know the day and time of the events surrounding the Marathon have changed from previous years. Just don't want to get caught up in the Marathon hoopla. Thank you

    Hi Maggie!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    You are right that the Wine and Dine Half Marathon has changed quite a bit this year.  The half marathon will now be held on Sunday morning (November 6).  Sunday is really the only day that you will notice any changes in "business as usual" at the parks.  The Friday and Saturday morning races will be over before the parks open.

    The half marathon course will run through Epcot and Animal Kingdom.  It should be through those parks by early to mid-morning but if you don't want to get caught in any race crowds, I would just skip those parks until after noon on Sunday.  

    Other than that, everything else should be unchanged.

    If you're driving somewhere on Sunday morning, be sure to get a road closure information guide from your front desk.
