Ahoy, Jennifer!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you stopped by to see us as you get ready for your Disney Cruise Line vacation. I bet you can't wait to set sail with Mickey and friends on your magical adventure!
Jennifer, Disney Cruise Line recently announced
several policy updates, including changes to the
alcohol policy. Currently, Guests who are 21 years and older are allowed to bring one bottle of wine or sparkling wine (no larger than 750 mL) on board at the beginning of your cruise. Alternatively, each Guest over 21 can bring 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) instead of a bottle of wine. If you choose to bring alcohol on your cruise, make sure to pack it in your carry-on bags rather than your checked luggage, and remember there is a corkage fee for bottles of wine brought to the dining rooms.
While you are welcome to bring your own alcohol on board, you may also be interested in one of the available
wine packages that can be purchased through
Onboard Gifts. My husband and I are both fans of this option and typically buy a package that matches the length of our cruise. Each evening at dinner, our serving team presents us with a menu to choose from based on our selected package - classic or premium. It's a great opportunity to try new wines and pair our selections with our meals each evening!
On our most recent cruise on the
Disney Dream, we tried a
Stem-to-Stern Wine Tasting for the first time, and really enjoyed the experience. If you're interested in learning more about wines, this may be a great activity to consider! Beverage seminars can be very popular, so I'd suggest checking available options when your
Onboard Activities booking window opens.
I hope this information has been helpful, Jennifer, and that you enjoy your upcoming vacation! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
SEA ya real soon!
