Hey Howdy Hey Jaclyn and welcome to planDisney!
I am so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Magic of Walt Disney World Resort later this year. I am glad you are getting a jump start on prepping for your
Advanced Dining Reservation Window. I will be happy to give you more information.
As long as you a staying onsite at a
Disney Resort Collection Hotel or a
Good Neighbor hotel with Advanced Dining benefits, you will have early access to making your reservations. The current policy Advanced Dining Reservations for your stay in Walt Disney World is 60 days before your date of arrival. If you do arrive on Monday, May 6th, your widow will open on Thursday, March 7th. Just make sure to double-check my dates! On that morning starting at 6:00 AM EST, you will have access to booking your dining reservations. Some sites do say you may be able to get reservations up to 15 minutes before that time as well, so it never hurts to be a little early!
If you are staying offsite from Disney, your window will be 30 days before your date of arrival, which is Saturday, April 6th. Again, double-check my dates! Still at the same time 6:00 AM EST.
The current rules also allow you to book dining reservations 60 days from the date of your arrival plus 10 in the future. So you should be able to make your reservations for the duration of your trip as long as it is less than 10 days. One method of getting hard-to-get reservations such as at
Cinderella's Royal Table, is to plan for this later in your trip. On the morning your dining window opens, try to get that one first as fewer people will have access to that date. Work backward from there to your arrival date and hopefully, you will have all the reservations you want! If you are unable to get reservations even 60 days out, don't worry and keep checking. People's plans change all the time so make it a regular part of your day to check on reservations as they may come up.
I hope that helps add some of the details on timing and strategy for your dining window. Please feel free to stop back with any further questions you may have, we are always happy to help!
Happy planning,
Nick
