Hey, Jen! This is a really great question, so I am glad you stopped by today. My daughters have always loved walking around our Disney Resort Hotel to see the creative ways Guests decorate their room windows and balconies. We have seen so many adorable windows that feature children's costumes as well as nostalgic salutes to favorite parks or attractions. Personally, I love spying Christmas trees (artificial, of course) on the balconies during the holidays! If you need some magical ideas for your resort window, Pinterest is a great resource!
I started measuring the resort windows several years ago to make sure I could always help guests plan for creative touches during their stays. My handy notebook shows the windows at
Disney's Pop Century Resort to measure 36" wide by 60" tall. In case you plan to sit items on the window ledge, those measure around 5" - 6" deep and run the width of the window. Know that you are welcome to add festive decorations as long as you do not alter or damage the resort or your room in any way. This can be achieved with suction cups, window clings, battery-operated light strands, and such. If you find that you have more decorations than available luggage space, you can opt to mail a box of decorations to the resort a few days in advance. When addressing the package, be sure to include your name and arrival date.
Be sure to check
Disney Floral & Gifts for even more festive ways to spruce up your Disney Resort Hotel room! Thanks for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions.
