My window to book tasting experiences opens in less than a month. My husband and I have the earliest booking window. Can I book an experience for my husband and I then switch my booking to my brother in law later when his window opens?

    Ahoy, Patricia!

Welcome back to planDisney! Isn’t it exciting when your booking window is just around the corner? It’s like you are Captain Minnie at the helm—you can finally steer your vacation plans exactly where you want them to go! Those tasting experiences are such a fun way to add a little extra sparkle to your sailing, and I’m thrilled you and your crew are planning ahead.

If you book a Beverage Tasting Seminar and later decide to switch your spot with your brother-in-law, the smoothest way to handle that is to stop by Guest Services together once onboard. The Cast Members there are like fairy godparents—they can make the switch quickly and ensure that the charge lands on the correct stateroom folio. This method usually works best since name changes aren’t something that can be adjusted online before sailing without canceling and rebooking.

It’s also important to know that if you ever need to cancel an experience altogether, it must be done at least 24 hours before the scheduled time to avoid being charged. So, if plans change faster than Dash running across the deck, just make sure to cancel in time.

When my family’s booking window opens, we have our own little debate worthy of a Disney court scene—do we book Palo brunch or dinner? Both are unforgettable dining experiences, so whichever you choose, it’s a bit like choosing between Lumière’s cuisine or Tiana’s gumbo—you really can’t go wrong.

I hope this helps you toast to a perfectly planned sailing and a smooth booking process. Before long, you’ll be clinking glasses under the stars, savoring every sip, and realizing that the best things in life (and at sea) are meant to be shared.

Sea ya real soon with boo-tiful nights and frightfully fun days,
    Dustin
