HI Wilm, My husband and I are planning a mini vac. to WDW 4/15=4/18. There are specials for FL. residents posted on the website but, being Annual Passholders (Purchased in FEB) I missed the issue of the MMNL. would I be better off to call WDW and book?

    Hi Donna,

Aren't we lucky to be Florida residents who can visit Walt Disney World often and take advantage of all the perks that come with being passholders?

One of the great benefits of being a passholder is taking advantage of the special discounts. If you missed the initial announcement, by all means, call to make your reservations and explain that you are a new passholder and that you want to get the best price possible.

I love the Mickey Monitor newlsetter, but I also use other means to keep abreast of passholder discounts. I check the passholders' page of the Disney website regularly for new discounts. And I follow the Disney World Passholders page on Facebook. I also follow the Disney Parks Blog for announcements of new programs, initiatives and discounts.

I hope you are able to find the perfect room at a great price for your mini vacation. My family tends to travel to Walt Disney World several times a year for short respites. It's our way of extending the Disney fun through the whole year.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions. Enjoy your whole year of Disney magic!
