Have willcall tickets from being sick when we came w/vaca pkg(stayed onsite+parkhopper+mealplan) & may use them when my son is celebrating his 3rd bday halfway thru trip. Will he still get in free since he will be 2 on arrival? Room not booked yet

How ya doin', Grace, and welcome to planDisney!

I'm sorry to hear you were sick during your last visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. I'm so happy to hear you're planning a redo to get some extra magic in your life, and with a baby boy's birthday to celebrate too!

While your little one is still 2 years old, he will be considered a guest of the Main Mouse, Mickey. But once he turns 3 years old, he will officially be a Disney child and will need a ticket. If he turns 3 mid-trip, only purchase tickets for those days.

Pro-tip: Make sure to grab your son a celebration pin from the front desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Guest Relations, or even some retail locations that announces his birthday. Cast Members will see it and know to give him some extra love.

Grace, I hope I've been able to help you today. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
