    We will at at AK on a day when it closes at 7. We'd like to visit DD after. We're staying at POFQ. Would it be best to take the bus back to POFQ & then take the boat to DD? If we leave AK @ 7 what time would be realistic to get to DD? Thanks!

    When departing the Animal Kingdom park, take a bus to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. From there, hop on a Downtown Disney bus. The AKL is the closest transfer hub when departing the AK park.

    After enjoying Downtown Disney, you can either take the boat back to Port Orleans French Quarter (note that it is cold on the water at night in the off-season), or take a bus back to your hotel.

    Allow one hour for travel since it is at closing time, involves a transfer and includes a bus to Downtown Disney. It always takes us the most time to reach this destination.
