We will be at Wilderness lodge the 2nd. week in Dec. and would like a standard room inside the lodge and close to the back of the lodge going to pool, lake, boats and restaurants. Do you know if there are any elevators back there and what floor?

    Hi Connie

Great resort choice!  The Wilderness Lodge is one of my favorite resorts, I was singing Davy Crocket for weeks once we returned home.

I would probably suggest that you put a request on your reservation to be on the north/west boat dock wing of the building if you want to be near dining, the pool and boat launch.  As for floor, really the only difference is that the top floor of this resort has solid balconies, whereas the rest of the balconies are railings that you can see through.  Just keep in mind that Disney does their best to accommodate room requests, but they are not guaranteed.

There are elevators near the guest laundry.  If you look at a resort map (one can be found at wdwinfo.com) there are elevators near the number 10.  This would be the closest elevators to the boat dock, pool and Roaring Forks restaurant.

Hope this was helpful, enjoy your trip!
