One question I will ask you...which theme park(s) do you plan to spend the most time in? If you plan to spend the majority of your time at
Magic Kingdom,
Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a great choice because it's so close to the magic! If, however, you plan to spend a great deal of time at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, then
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the perfect location to call "home" during your vacation!
I have stayed at both Resort hotels and they are both magnificent. They are both beautiful, both have wonderful areas to sit and relax, both have great dining options, both have incredible views, and both have great pools and recreational activities.
I suggest you map out a tentative itinerary and determine which Resort hotel will best fit with your vacation plans. Think about theme parks, dining, recreation, shopping and anything else that might play into your decision. Does one Resort hotel's location aid in you making your choice?
If you continue to struggle with your selection, I will suggest a method we have used many times. Write each Resort hotel down on a piece of paper. Fold the papers and place them in your favorite Mickey Ear hat. Then - pick a winner. I assure you, whatever choice you make, you will love the experience you have at your Resort hotel!
