When does the Wilderness Lodge put up their Christmas decorations? We will be staying Nov 9-16th 2019 and are hoping to see the beautiful tree!

    Hi there, Jeremiah!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are so glad that you stopped by with your question.

It sounds like you have an amazing upcoming vacation planned at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. November is the perfect time to visit Walt Disney World Resort since the weather is usually not too hot and certainly not too cold then. The Christmas decorations usually start going up throughout the resorts just before Thanksgiving so that everything is perfectly done in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Since Thanksgiving will be on November 28th of this year, there is a chance that the magnificent tree in the lobby of Disney's Wilderness Lodge will be up by the end of your vacation. However, there is no guarantee since you will be there around two weeks before the holiday.

Your trip should coincide with one of my favorite events of the year though, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This special ticketed event is held on certain nights at Magic Kingdom park and is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. You'll get to experience your favorite characters dressed in their holiday attire, complimentary holiday treats and a special parade. There will also be plenty of amazing decorations up for you to enjoy! So I hope this will give you something to look forward to just in case you miss the decorations at your resort.

Thanks again for stopping by with your question. I hope you have a magical vacation!
