When does the Wilderness Lodge put up their Christmas decorations? We will be staying Nov 11-14th 2012 and are hoping to see the beautiful tree!

Oh, I so hope you get to see those decorations, Britt.  The Wilderness Lodge may not decorate as opulently as Grand Floridian, but the woodsy charm always lends to an extra cozy and Christmas spirit-y feeling, at least to me.  Unfortunately, I can't give you an exact date as to when you can expect to see those decorations.  I spoke with a Cast Member who told me that while an exact date for decorations to go up has yet to be announced, typically guests can start enjoying them around the first or second week of November.  She went on to assure me that everything was completely decorated by Thanksgiving.  So, with the dates of your trip in mind, it looks like you'll be close.  Sending extra pixie dust your way in hopes that it works out for you!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
