Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Sylvia. I always love seeing a fellow North Carolinian stop by planDisney with a question.
I see that you have a trip to the
Most Magical Place On Earth in just a few short weeks. I bet you are getting so excited!
Disney's Wilderness Lodge is such a great place to stay, you are going to love it there. One of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat and a cocktail is
Geyser Point Bar & Grill which is located at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. If time allows it in your itinerary, I would definitely pencil in a stop there. The cheesy barbecue brisket dip with the house-made chips is 10 out of 10!
Being a Guest at Disney's Wilderness Lodge allows you access to their
two pool areas at that particular resort. You can enjoy the Copper Creek Springs Pool. This is located really close to the Geyser Point Bar & Grill that I was telling you about. There, you'll find a fun water slide and several hot and cold tubs to enjoy. You can also spend some time at the Boulder Ridge Cove Pool which is a zero-entry pool with some really nice seating areas. Both pools are super nice and a lot of fun so hopefully you can visit both.
If you'd like to visit the water parks while on a Walt Disney World vacation, you would need to purchase a water park ticket. Currently,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is the only water park that is open. Unlike the other Walt Disney World Theme Parks, to enter a water park you'll only need a water park ticket and not a park pass reservation. You can even wait until the day of and purchase your water park ticket at the gate. I like to do this so I know I am going on a day that has good weather.
I hope this helps, Sylvia. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun splish-splashing around!
Jackie H.
