Welcome to planDisney Deborah!
So many great dinner choices at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! Did you choose
Sanaa with its views of Sunset Savannah?
Jiko-The Cooking Place with its crackling wood-burning ovens? Or
Boma-Flavors of Africa and its all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet?
Let’s get you there so you can enjoy your favorite!
From Disney’s Wilderness Lodge you have a few
Disney transportation options that my family has used to get to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. One choice would be to take a Disney theme park bus from Wilderness Lodge to either Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom and transfer to the Animal Kingdom Lodge bus. This resort bus will take you directly to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Animal Kingdom Lodge does have two resorts,
Jambo House and
Kidani Village. The bus drops guests off at both stops on its route. Make sure you disembark at the correct stop for your dinner reservation.
Quick Tip: Sanaa will be at the Kidani Village stop!
Jiko-The Cooking Place and Boma-Flavors of Africa will be at the Jambo House stop!
Another, more leisurely route to your destination is to take the
Wilderness Lodge boat to Magic Kingdom and then transfer to the Animal Kingdom Lodge resort bus. The scenic ride past Disney’s Contemporary Resort with views of Space Mountain and that first view of my happy place is always my first choice knowing that a Mickey Bar is just around the corner!
With either of these options, please give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination to make it to your reservation! I always recommend going early to enjoy the sites of the majestic Animal Kingdom Lodge!
Deborah you can also consider a ride share to get to your dinner reservation like Uber or Lyft. You can even add some pixie dust by calling on the
Minnie Van Service (booked through Lyft) to take you directly from Wilderness Lodge to Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Keep the
My Disney Experience app nearby at all times! You can use the app to look at the menu for the amazing dinner that awaits you at the Animal Kingdom Lodge!
Hakuna Matata Deborah and thanks for stopping by planDisney!
