Hi Christina!
Welcome to planDisney.
I am very happy to see that you are staying at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge as this happens to be my favourite place to stay! Enjoy a relaxing boat ride to/from Magic Kingdom Park, take a walk along the waterfront, past Copper Creek Springs Pool and Fire Rock Geyser (which is a wonder of nature as it erupts every hour from 7.00 am!!) and I highly recommend
Geyser Point Bar & Grill, not least for its stunning location beside Bay Lake, which is beautiful day or night, but also for a relaxing drink or delicious meal.
I think you will be allowed to use the waterslide with your toddler, but please double-check with the lifeguards on duty, just to be sure. You can get a good impression of the 67-foot waterslide from
this photo. I love how it's carved out of the rocks before it ends up in the Copper Creek Springs Pool. Complimentary life-jackets are available for young children, and towels are provided, poolside. Pool opening times are 10.00am-11.00pm.
Just close by you'll find the Copper Creek Springs Water Play Area for all guests 48" and under, which I'm sure your toddler will enjoy.
Look out for the lively afternoon pool parties with fun games for little ones, too.
The Boulder Ridge Cove Pool is open to all guests between 7.00am-11.00pm. It's a quieter pool with no lifeguards.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. You can also
send me a direct question about Wilderness Lodge, or any other planning questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation at Walt Disney World!
Sue
