His true adventurer heart and dedication that would make even Sam Eagle stand at attention and Mickey Mouse cheer, he’s more than earned a little extra magical encouragement from these two. When I spoke to a Cast Member, they let me know that you can certainly send a note to
Mickey Mouse and Sam Eagle c/o Walt Disney World Communications, PO Box 10040, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-0040. With a little luck and pixie dust, you may be able to get an autograph or a postcard for your son. However, I do want to let you know, Amy, that due to preparations for the United States' Semiquincentennial, any response you receive will likely be delayed. Also, my new Cast Member pal shared that Mickey is more likely to respond than Sam since Sam considers it his duty to support the celebration of our nation. Also, just a quick tip: make sure to include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your original note to Mickey and Sam. This will help them respond to you much more easily!

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets has just debuted today. I had a chance to ride it last weekend during an Annual Passholder preview and loved the new musical spin. Now that the attraction has officially opened, all of the goodies and merchandise have also been shared. I spied a Sam Eagle plush (and a bunch of other Sam Eagle merchandise) that might be a great gift for your son. Be sure to stop over during your next visit (maybe to celebrate your brand new Eagle Scout) and see what goodies you can take home with you. If you need anything else, please come back and see us!
