Wild Africa Trek, tree and rope bridge. My wife would not be able to do the rope bridges as she cannot look down as she gets dizzy, she cannot do any open staircase. Is it possible to skip the bridges as she is confident she will be able to do the rest.

    Jambo Ian,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited to hear you are considering booking Wild Africa Trek! Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park is one of my top favorite Theme Parks! I love seeing all the animals who call the park home and getting a chance to soak up the incredible culture of the Theme Park. If you get a chance, stop by Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village! The Indian-style Bread Service is so good and the views of the animals from the windows are fantastic.

Kilimanjaro Safari is my favorite attraction, so the Wild Africa Trek has been high on my wish list for a while now. One of my fellow panelists, Ariane, recently participated in this experience, and I loved seeing her amazing photos of the day. She definitely made me want to sign up for my next visit. To participate fully in the experience, Guests are asked to be comfortable with heights and the rope bridges. With that being said, Walt Disney World Resort is always committed to making sure that all Guests have a magical experience, so they offer alternative programs that are less strenuous. My recommendation is to reach out to the Wild Africa Trek operations at 0800 028 0778 to inquire about how to make sure that your wife has the best experience to fit her needs. When you call the number, you will be directed to leave your information and explain what accommodations you need. Be as detailed as possible, and a Cast Member will get back to you as soon as possible.

I hope this was helpful, Ian and that you and your wife get a chance to experience the incredible experience that is Wild Africa Trek.

Happy Planning and Asante Sana for visiting us today!
