Wild Africa Trek in Feb. Cooler weather mean there will be less animals out and about? Cancel tour for inclement weather? Any time of day better than another? Have been dreaming of such a tour and when Disney announced it I couldn't believe it! Woweee!!!

    Hi Janice!

The Wild Africa Trek is fabulous!  I had a blast doing it and recommend it for everybody who can afford it.  It was a great experience.

I don't think the cooler weather will impact what animals you see or the experience.  While it does get cool at night, generally speaking, in February, it's not that cold, especially during the day.  However, you are right.  The tour does get canceled for bad weather; the good news is the weather is hardly ever bad in February.

With regards to which tour, I highly recommend going on the very first tour in the morning.  You will get into the park before general guests and since the first part of the trek starts off in the park, I think being there before any other guests are there helps with "believability".  It also just a lot of fun being the only people in the park early in the morning!

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
