We wiil be in WDW June 8, 2012 & is during Star Wars week. Does anything change regarding the Jedi Training selection process? Will arrive early b/4 the park opens & will get the times schedule. We went in 2011 and didn't get selected. Very Disapp

Galactic Greetings Jennifer and thanks so much for the question!

Although the Jedi Training Academy is offered throughout the year, it is extremely popular during Star Wars weekends so you can expect the demand for "spots" in the program to be at an all time high.  The show will be basically the same during Star Wars Weekends but because of the increased crowds they may hold two trainings for different levels of Padawans simultaneously which means both Darth Vader and Darth Maul may be present for the final battle which is really cool!

Because of the anticipated popularity during the special event, you're definitely on point with planning to arrive as early as possible to increase the chances of your youngling being selected to participate! There will be several shows scheduled throughout the day so plan to be available for each showing.

May the Force be with you,

    Amanda F.
